Where it all began…
The Bake Well Club started in the kitchen — just like every good story.My mother, an adventurous and talented home cook, passed down her knowledge — recipes made from memory, from a new cookbook or her imagination — all shared with care and love.My grandmother taught me how to make Bakewell tarts because they were my dad’s favourite. We’d line dance in the kitchen while waiting for the pastry to rest.This Club is a way to honour them — and all the women, families, and friends who’ve shared their love through food.It’s a place to gather around the table, to cook and bake, to tell stories, and to celebrate the simple joy of sharing food and being together.
